Who should take the ASVAB and Why?
Any student in grades 10, 11 and 12 studying in the postsecondary schools can take the ASVAB test. Anyone taking the ASVAB test can benefit from its Career Exploration Program. It highlights the student’s understanding of the academic capabilities and also helps them in deciding the program of study they are opting for. Interest inventory results will help students identify potentially satisfying occupations.
ASVAB Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the ASVAB test is as follows
- Individuals who are at least 17 years old
- One month lapse after the first ASVAB test taken- For first retest
- One month from the date of the first retest taken- For second retest
- Allowed at least six months from the date of the second retest- For third and more retests.
