The institution hosting the COMPASS test decides on the fee structure. It is provided free of cost to everyone. For example
-According to the Motlow State Community College only the retakes need to be paid an amount of $10 per section. This amount should not exceed $20.
-According to the Tennesse Technological University there is a $10 charge for taking the COMPASS test. The retest fee is $20.
